Gordon Tan24 July 2024Had the honour of working with the S2S team in-house while our 12m RIB was in for a re-power (which turned out into much more than that), would do it all over again. The environment was wonderful-workshop floors so clean you could eat off, utilising pro-grade tools and techniques to ensure the jobs were not only done right but looks right, bright overhead worklights etc. All the staff I interacted with (Jason, Luke, Gus, Hugo, Nathan, Jake, Jack) were always helpful with whatever questions I had along the way and are all dedicated & passionate in their respective areas of expertise. Huge shoutout to Wayde who was in charge of our boat for being nothing but sensational throughout the few weeks. His willingness to learn, perfectionist's eye for detail, and most importantly his infectious optimistic attitude to overcome the myriad of challenges we had in the process is most commendable. He brings so much value to the team touching upon his prior boat-building experiences & ability to visualise ahead seeing the 'big picture'. Last but certainly not the least is the man at the helm of S2S, Andrew (who has more knowledge about outboards & boats than an encylopedia) for being extremely professional, and always making sure things were done up to his progessional standards from the first day we arrived in his workshop till the final sea trial/handover.
